The shooting down of 2 Iranian Su-24MKs took place on Monday, March 2. The machines were detected as they approached the U.S. Al-Udeid base and the Ras Laffan refinery. They moved respective twelve meters above the surface of the water to avoid detection by radars. At the minute erstwhile they were 2 minutes from these targets, they were detected and identified.
