The Minister of abroad Affairs of the muslim Republic of Iran Hossein Amir Abdollahian met in Damascus on 14 January with president of the Syrian arabian Republic Baszar al-Assad and Minister of abroad Affairs of this country Faisal Mekdad.
Following the meeting, the Parties announced their intention to sign a strategical economical Partnership Agreement, which would extend a series of akin agreements of 2019.
