In confederate Iran there are peculiar units of the American Air Force, USAF Pararescue, which conduct search and rescue operations of a crew associate shot down there by an F-15E fighter, reported the BBC on Saturday. According to the media, the pilot of a two-man device has already been rescued.
The F-15E aircraft was shot down by the Iranian anti-aircraft defence on Friday. The CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue) has led to the discovery and rescue of the aircraft pilot. We're inactive searching for the weapons operator.
Helicopters and aircraft, among others, were active in the activities as shown by the published video material. This is most likely HH-60, a modification of the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, designed for search and rescue operations, and HC-130J aircraft, besides designed to support operations CSAR.
According to the media, soldiers of the U.S. Air Force (USAF) search and rescue groups, known as the Pararescue Team, besides participate in the operation. This is simply a specialized formation whose goal is to rescue aircraft crews shot down over enemy territory, its past dates back to planet War II and the Vietnam War.
It is unclear whether soldiers are active on Iranian soil. The search unit members are prepared to land in hostile ground and take over the shot down fuselages.
The American pilot is besides looking for Iranians. On Friday, public tv called on the population to aid capture enemy pilots, pointing out that a reward was given for handing over live soldiers to the authorities. Its amount is 10 billion tomans, or 100 billion rials, equivalent to about $76,000.
