Ten Iranian missiles flew towards the largest U.S. military base in the region. Officially, in retaliation for attacks on Iranian atomic installations. In practice, it all points to the fact that no 1 wanted anyone truly hit. The Al-Udeid base in Qatar was evacuated before the first blast. As the explosions spread over Doha at night, the base was empty.
