The demolition of Hermes, confirmed by Israeli air force, is the first photographically documented shooting down of an aircraft, which is not ammunition (such as maneuvering rockets or ammunition circulating) by Iranian anti-aircraft defence since the war began. The incidental occurred in Isfahan Province, south of Tehran. The capital of the state is located about 1500 km from the border with Israel.
