The Ministry of Defence in Ankara reported that a ballistic rocket launched from Iran was intercepted on Wednesday heading for Turkey. It was noted that the rocket was destroyed by NATO air defence over the east Mediterranean. "Turkey reserves the right to respond to any hostile actions directed against it" - we read in the communication.
