Iran betrayed? Moscow and Damascus against Tehran

The editor-in-chief of Tehran's regular Jomhouri Eslami, founded at the dawn of the muslim Revolution by Ali Khamenei, posed the direct question of how "Russia, which controls Syrian airspace, does not prevent air strikes on Iranian targets?" Masih Mohajeri, the editor-in-chief of the Iranian daily, stressed that Tehran has suffered besides many losses in Syria in fresh months. "Have Iranian officials always asked themselves why specified attacks on Russian forces in Syria never happen and why Russia's advanced air defenses are failing to prevent Israel's crimes against Iran?" Mohajeri asked, suggesting that "it's time to reassess our safety posture."
