Each semiconductor device technology consists of 3 elements: (i) the growth of the base crystal, e.g., Si, SiC, GaAs, Gan, etc., (ii) epitaxy, (iii) procession.

Epitaxia is the application of thin (nanometre and micrometre) layers of appropriate composition to the substrate. For example, a blue laser diode requires the application of respective layers of AlGaN and InGaN doped Si, or Mg. Epitaxia is simply a complicated process, reactors cost respective million Euros for this purpose, and the parameters for optimization are respective dozen, so increasing good epitaxial epitaxial epitaxial structures is truly large art.

In 1988, the English founded an IQE company in Cardiff to deal with the epidemic. I visited her in 2001 and then the company flourished. It had respective twelve reactors to epitaxy (in Poland at present there are about 10 specified reactors), and the stock price was 750 pounds.
