MUSICAL PEARLES OF THE POLISH MEDIUM

Marek Dyżewski is simply a postgraduate of the Wrocław Academy of Music. He besides studied art past at universities in Wrocław, Vienna and Catholic University of Lublin. He besides had a investigation internship at the University of Brussels. On both tv and radio, he commented on the biggest global music events held in Poland: the global Oratory-Cantata Festival "Wratislavia Cantans", the Grzegorz Fitelberg global Conducting Competition, the Henryk Wieniawski global Violin Competition and the Fryderyk Chopin global Piano Competition. He is the author of cited translations (from Latin, French, German, Spanish and Italian). Medieval liturgical drama Ludus Danielis in his literary adaptation (based on Latin text from the Cathedral of Beauvais) was played by the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw – on the phase of this theatre and on many European scenes. He taught lectures in all Polish music universities, at respective universities and at accompanying crucial musical events seminars, conferences and workshops. He has besides been a guest lecturer in Bonn, Nuremberg, Hamburg, Berlin, Ghent, Brussels, Saint Petersburg, Nice, Paris, Vienna and Washington. From 1990 to 1994, he was the Rector of the Wroclaw Academy of Music. This university owes it to building a new, awesome headquarters, strengthening the professorial staff, establishing fresh specialities, enriching the instrumentarium and developing global contacts. In 2020, his book was published Save from oblivion – a collection of 30 essays devoted to Polish music culture of fresh decades.
