Invitation to the lecture by prof. Marek Dyżewski on 12 May in Wrocław

We cordially invitation you to a musical lecture entitled "Musical Discards of the Holy Mountain in Gostinian" as part of the festival "May with Old Music" on Sunday, May 12, at 4 p.m. at the Club of Music and Literature in Wrocław, en. Gen. T. Kościuszko 10.
The lecture will be devoted to masterpieces of sacral music created by musicians of the celebrated band operating in the 18th and 19th Basilica of the Priests of the Philippines on the Holy Mountain in Gostyń.
The most outstanding champion of this band was Józef Zeidler (1744-1806).
Józef Zeidler, a forgotten and absent composer in musical life, in 2006 (on the 200th anniversary of his death) in the light of his works performed at the first Oratory Music Festival "Musica Sacromontana", revealed himself as "Polish Mozart". This rank was confirmed by his next works, made (and recorded in evidence recordings) in 18 editions of the festival.
