Every part of large-caliber ammunition that leaves our mill will be "white-red" – declared Renata Gruszczyńska, president of Mesko SA, and points out that already most components of 155-millimeter missiles come from Polish producers. Key manufacturing processes, until final research, are carried out in the companies owned by the company, among others, in Kraśnik, Bolechów and Pionki.
Part of the Polish Armed Forces Group Mesko SA is the largest maker of both small-caliber and large-caliber ammunition in this part of Europe, including the 155 mm most sought-after. Representatives of the company, which is presently the only Polish maker of bullet casings of this caliber, emphasize that the full production process (in its factories in Kraśnik) is based 100% on natural materials obtained in the Polish industry, starting with steel bits (half-pieces with square section), on paint.
– We do not install finished items imported from abroad. All parts of ammunition are produced by our own summary on our technological lines with the engagement of an highly experienced crew – explains Renata Gruszczyńska, president of Mesko SA. As he adds, after carrying out the investments valued at hundreds of millions of PLN in the increase in production capacity, the company wants to quit entirely any abroad components. "After reaching the mark capacity, we will proceed to build on materials from the national supply chain to keep the sovereignty of production. In a somewhat metaphorical way, any part of large caliber ammunition that leaves our mill will be "white-red" - emphasised Renata Gruszczyńska.
The investments carried out in the facilities in Kraśnik will include investments. expansion of the production hall up to about 9 1000 m2 and modernization of another mill facilities. Work will begin this year, and their completion is scheduled for the 3rd 4th of 2027.
As the Meska representatives emphasize, the aim of the full PGM Group of ammunition investments is Rapid increase in rocket production capacity. – The Mesko will increase its production capacity to 100,000 rounds of 155 mm per year. As a result, the full Mesko Ammunition Group will accomplish the possible to produce up to 180 1000 pieces per year – says president Gruszczyńska.
