"Based on the collected material, the prosecutor has initiated an investigation into the actions to the detriment of the Republic of Poland by the erstwhile head of the Ministry of National Defense, Antoni Macierewicz, in connection with his decision not to let Poland to join the allied initiative to get air tankers," the National Prosecutor's Office reported.
