Investigation of the assassination of Polish soldiers in Lebanon

The territory Attorney's Office in Warsaw is investigating the assassination of Polish soldiers serving in confederate Lebanon as part of the UNIFIL mission. The investigation was initiated on 30 March 2026 and concerns an incidental that occurred the day before in the area of Bint Jubajl. The case was qualified as an attempted execution of 4 soldiers of the Polish Army.
