One of the golden truths of economics says that the most valuable commodity was, is and will be information. Those who could get crucial news faster than others could have made strategical decisions before, specified as closing risky transactions or, on the contrary, putting everything on the same page.

Since ancient military strategists, aware of the importance of the superiority of cognition about the opponent, his plans, potentials, resources, weaknesses and strengths, sought to gain information about him in different ways. So the armies had scouts and spies operating not only during the conflict. With the improvement of technology, satellites have emerged to get messages about the other side. For example, they can get radiolocation data at any time of day or night, regardless of weather.
