Indian commando in action. Pirates lose

The Indian Navy recovered on 16 March 2024 a merchant ship MV "Ruen" under the Maltese flag, which along with a seventeen-man crew was kidnapped by Somali pirates in December 2023, en way from South Korea to Turkey. The abolition was held in a uncommon way, as the assault group was delivered by parachutes utilizing the strategical transport aircraft C-17 Boeing Globemaster of Indian Air Force.
