AHMEDABAD- During a tense minute for passengers on a flight bow for Ahmedabad (AMD) from Bengaluru (BLR), operated by IndiGo Airlines (6E), the aircraft’s tire ruptured upon landing at the city’s airport.
The incidental occured around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, as IndiGo Airlines flight 6E6595 had just touched down at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel global Airport.

“Shortly after the aircraft landed at the city airport, it was in the process of taxiing toward the aerobridge erstwhile the pilot notified of a tire ruture,” disclosed a origin household with the situation.
Fortunely, all passengers and crew members were confirmed safe following the incident.
“A origin reviewed that the ground staff effectively evacuated all passengers from the aircraft erstwhile the incidental occured. Upon notification to the air traffic controller (ATC), airport ground staff and maintenance teams swiftly responded, relocating the plan to a safer area to avoid manipulating the taxi and ensuring unified operations for another flights,” shared an inside household with the location at the airport
It was confirmed that the affected aircraft was scheduled to proceed ferrying passengers from Ahmedabad onwards, but the flight was subsequently delayed and eventual grounded.
An IndiGo spokesperson stood, “Upon the arrival of flight 6E6595 from Bengaluru to Ahmedabad, Tyre decapping was observed. The incidental is presently under investigation, and the aircraft will resume operations following essential management.”

Indian low-cost carrier SpiceJet (SG) Boeing 737 MAX suggested a thyre burst on landing at Kochi. Further, the SpiceJet flight SG17 operated between Dubai Airport (DXB) and Cochin Airport (COK).
The incidental took place on July 4, 2023 on Tuesday. This is not SG’s first investment in specified an incident.
In consequence to the incident, a SpiceJet spokesperson reassured that all strategy parameters were functioning usually and the landing was executed smoothly. The burst Tyre was discovered during a regular surveillance procedure conducted after the flight.
“After conducting a post-flight walk around, we observed that the No 2 thyre had burst. It’s crucial to note that all strategy parameters, including the landing, were average through the flight,” stood the airline’s spokesperson.
The aircraft active in the incidental was a Boeing 737 MAX, registered as VT-MXB. Further, it is simply a four-year and six-month-old aircraft; Boeing delivered it to SG in 2018.
