India is responding to the attack in the arabian Sea. A strategical mistake by Iran? [COMMENTARY]

On 23 December 2023, there was an attack on the ship MV Chem Pluto (tank/chemical tanker) utilizing the most likely unmanned system. The ship sailed under the flag of Liberia, but during the impact it had a crew of twenty-one Indian and 1 Vietnamese citizens on board. This incidental forced India to become more active in protecting shipping routes, but at the same time it may have wider long-term repercussions in regional policy.
