India modernises towed artillery

The time limit for submitting offers is 8 March this year, the Indian Army plans to acquisition a 155 mm towed haubic cannon, with barrels of 52 calibers in length. The weapon shall have a mass of not more than 15 tonnes, must be capable of firing targets at a distance of up to 40 km, the life cycle shall be not little than 20 years, and the life life or intended to be not little than 1500 EFC (Equivalent Full Charge) or shots at maximum powder charge.
