Indian BrahMos missiles for Russia. An act of desperation?

Indian arms company BrahMos Aerospace said it wants to sale its BrahMOS “cruise missiles” to Russia. It would be unusual for the Russians to buy this kind of missiles that in the Russian Federation itself produces these types of rockets, and in addition they are designed for completely different tasks and cost 3 times more costly than the truly maneuvering “Calibers”.
