The lion’s share of purchases is intended to be the long-delayed acquisition of 114 multitasking aircraft [Rafale](https://defence24.pl/industrial/another-client-on-rafale-in-this-year). This is an Indian multitasking 4+ aircraft acquisition program, Multi-Role Fighter Aircraft (MRFA), besides known as MMRCA 2.0. In the erstwhile program, simply known as MMRCA (Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft), Rafale besides won in 2012, but due to the deficiency of agreement on method cooperation fresh Delhi decided to get only 36 of these aircraft alternatively of 126. Hence, the fresh procedure for 114 more machines, which lasted for respective years.
