India Attacks Pakistan: UN Says planet Cannot Afford This

A spokesperson for United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned after India's attack on Pakistan on Wednesday that "the planet cannot afford a military confrontation" between the countries. The U.S. State Department said Marco Rubio had appealed to his counterparts to refrain from escalation. Beijing besides urged both sides to exercise calm and restraint.
