India attack on Pakistan. UN: The planet cannot afford it

A spokesperson for the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterresa warned after the Wednesday Indian attack on Pakistan that "the planet cannot afford military confrontation" between these countries. The U.S. State Department reported that Marco Rubio called on his counterparts to refrain from escalation. The Beijing authorities besides called on both sides of the conflict to stay calm and reticent.
