Inaugural Gala Without Orban: "It Was Worth the Price"

"It was worth the price," wrote an advisor to the Hungarian prime minister, commenting on the decision not to invitation Viktor Orban and the Hungarian ambassador to the gala inaugurating the Polish presidency of the EU Council. The invitations were not issued due to the conflict between Budapest and Warsaw after the Hungarian authorities provided protection to PiS politician Marcin Romanowski, who was wanted by Polish services.
