Peter and Catherine are severely affected by fate, considerable degrees of disability and independence. It is not known why the kind of disability benefit depends on the age of the disability. The blind since the age of 17 are a social benefit or an old nursing benefit. The most drastic situation is in care provision (old). The government says that disability must mostly arise before age (exceptions for science). However, in 2014, the Constitutional Court stated that this was incompatible with the Constitution of the Republic of Poland - there is no reason why the old care provision was not given blind since the age of 30. According to the fresh rules, Peter and Catherine can apply for support services - its construction ignores the date of the creation of the disability, but most of the benefits are paid in an "old" strategy based, among others, on pensions and care provision.
