"In line for whorehouse". Slavoj Žižek fantasizes about Jarosław Kaczyński

kompromitacje.blogspot.com 1 year ago
And what if it is the duality of Trump's personality - he wrote in 2017 in "Independent" Slavoj Žižek - taking a highly moral position combined with individual grossness and vulgarity - makes him attractive to Christian conservatives? What if they secretly identify with this duality?

The same applies to the current real ruler of Poland, Jarosław Kaczyński, who in 1997 in an interview with the "Gazeta Wyborcza" indecently exclaimed: "Now we". The phrase (which has since become a topossess in Polish politics) can be translated about as: "This is our fucking time, now we are in power, it is our turn", but its literal meaning is more vulgar, something like: "Now is our time to fuck whores" (after waiting in line for a brothel).

It is crucial that this conviction was publically delivered by a devout Catholic conservative, a defender of Christian morality: it is simply a hidden second side of the medal that effectively supports Catholic "moral" politics [1].

A communicative about the vulgar Kaczyński, moral only in quotes, Žižek reprinted a year later in the letter "tripleC" [2] and in the book Like A Thief In Broad Daylight[3]. And 2 years later, he's been playing all over in a YouTube interview: My Polish friend told me, and Then I checked it myself, it's all true, on the web you can find the clip And so on. Kaczyński, present a actual ruler of Poland, a Catholic conservative. He was asked after any of the erstwhile elections erstwhile his organization won, what his plan was, how he was going to rule. And his answer in a very vulgar Polish sounded - for public television! - "Now we fucking do." So you're describing it as, "Now it's our turn to fucking whore." It's a vulgar military expression, you know, this archetypal scene - until I get the creeps - a prostitute, soldiers waiting in line, and then, oh, now it's my turn to f*********. Everyone was shocked. They thought it was a mistake, and he insisted, "No, that's what I meant," and so on, and so on. [4]. Žižka did not pass in Poland without an echo. But it was written about this brothel fantasy most likely only once, in addition to being kind-hearted, plucking out the chaotic fabrication of the crumb of fact ("It is true..."). [5].

In the meantime, it is more or little as actual as a very old gag from a series of questions to Radio Erevan: Is it actual that in Red Square in Moscow they are handing out cars? Yeah, that's right. But not cars, just bikes, not Red Square, just close the Patriarch bridge, and they don't give away, they steal. [6].

It is actual that Jarosław Kaczyński utilized the phrase "Now k... us!". But not after winning the elections, only six months before the elections, not on TV, but in conversation with the writer "Gazeta Wyborcza", and - most importantly! - he spoke so not about his plans, but ironically about the situation in the Election Action "Solidarity", from which he appeared just before the elections. Besides, it all fits.

Anyway, see for yourself. It was from these fewer sentences in Witold Gadomski's article that the full fantasy came out:

So it is not known - wrote Gadomski - how the universal privatization in the release of AWS will yet look. Meanwhile, this is simply a key issue in the programme. - Without a broad privatization, which would benefit most Poles, capitalism will not get legitimacy - says Kaczyński.

But how to reconcile specified utmost currents: conservative liberals with KPN activists? - I ask.

- I'm sorry. You know, the strongest group in AWS is TKM - the head of PC [i.e. Kaczyński] answers. - Full name: "Now k... us!". Just so there's no doubt, I didn't make that name. It's a popular saying that works among activists.. For TKM politicians, the programme differences are of small importance [7].

Just due to the fact that Žižek is making it up is not unusual. yet making up a vista on any subject is his specialty [8]. Then they will compose in "Gazeta Wyborcza" that behind the inventions of Žižek "there is simply a thoughtful intellectual plan without any gaps in reasoning, additionally supported by awesome erudition" [9].

But Žižek does not know Polish and he most likely doesn't even realize how much he flew distant this time with his linguistic analysis of the phrase, which, for a Pole, is obvious! - has nothing to do with the brothel, the army or the pleasures of paid love. "Fuck" appears in it only in expressive function - as an expression of the speaking emotion.

So 1 of the natives had to get beautiful dense on Žižek's head, since he ended up with ridiculous things like that. pure nonsense fake Hungarian-English talks from the well-known Monty Python sketch [10].

The article in "Independent" was devoid of footnotes, but already in the version with "tripleC" and Like A Thief In Broad Daylight After the words "in line for a brothel" there was a mention to an article by Sławomir Sierakowski [11]. So he was most likely the "Polish friend", thanks to whom Slavoj Žižek became an old man of the fresh large Linguist. As far as I know, Sierakowski has never corrected that he has been misunderstood by his Slovenian friend, i.e. he is jointly and severally in line with him.

Before I leave them in this queue, 2 more remarks.

In case Slavoj Žižek should always have heard the phrase "What the fuck are you fucking with?", let him explain in advance that the talker of these words is not in any way the information with which the harlot Žižek utilized to have sexual relations. Rather, it is simply a question of verifying the conviction in the spirit of late Wittgenstein [12].

Very fewer foreigners who compose about Polish matters know the Polish language, so it is worth remembering that for all specified chaotic eruption of fantasy, sometimes truly nothing with King Ubu, almost always stands any cynical local liar [13].

[1] Slavoj Žižek, Christian conservatives don't support Donald Trump despite his vulgarity - they support him due to it, independent.co.uk, July 14, 2017.

I translated freely, so for connoisseurs the same thing again in the original:

"What if the very duality of Trump's personality - his advanced moral standing supported by individual leftness and vulgarities - is what makes him attractive to Christian conservatives? What if they secretly identify with this very duality?

Exactly the same goes for Poland's current de facto ruler Jaroslaw Kaczynski who, in a 1997 interview for Electoral Newspaper, inelegantly exclusive: « It's our f****ing turn» («Now fuck us.“). This example (which then become a classical location in Polish politics) can be vaguely translated as: «It's our f***ing time, now we are in power, it's our term», but it virtually means is more vulgar, something like: «Now it's our time to f**k the whore» (after waiting in line in a brothel).

It's crucial that this name was publically listed by a devout Catholic conservative, a protector of Christian morality: it's the hidden obverse which effectively sustains Catholic «moral» policies".

Nb. for this article Žižka is called Wikipedia in the password "TKM", but leaves him without comment - as if everything was in the best order there. A critical approach to sources is clearly not a strong side of Polish wikipedia.

And for connoisseurs the transcript of Žižek's first statement:

I was told by my Polish friend and then I checked it, it's all true, on the web you can hit the clip and so on. Kaczyński, the real master about Poland today, Catholic reserved. We were asked in 1 of the erstwhile elections, erstwhile his organization won, he was asked "What's your plan, how will you government?". And his answer was in very vulgar Polish, for the public TV!: "Now fuck us". Which means to translate it descriptionly "Now it's our turn to fuck the whore". It's the vulgar military express, you know, this archetypal scene - it gives me creeps - a simple, soldiers waiting in line and then, oh, it's now my turn to f***. And everybody was shot. They thought it was a mistake and he insisted "No, that's what I mean", and so on, and so on.

This article begins with the words "Slovenian sociologist and philosopher Slavoj Žižek suggested..." He suggested? But he firmly stated, "I checked myself, it's all true, on the web you can find a clip".

[6] The irony of destiny made the book Like A Thief In Broad Daylight 3 paragraphs further after this fantasy of Kaczyński, which is just right for a question to Radio Erevan, Žižek quotes himself "a delicious old russian gag about Radio Erevan", this time in a version with Rabinovich in the lead role.

"The listener asks: «Is it actual that Rabinovich won a fresh car on the loterri». The radio replies: «In fact, yes, it is true. But it wasn't a fresh car, it was an old bike, and it didn't win, it was just stolen from him»".

Nb. This was not the happiest pitch and Jarosław Kaczyński then had to explain respective times what he meant. But, of course, he never insisted that he meant a line to a brothel with himself as a queuer.

"The relations [with Marian Krzaklewski] began to deteriorate. In the meantime, in an interview with «Gazeta Wyborcza», I was able to talk about the arrangement «Now fucking us», which begins to regulation the AWS. Together with Ujazdowski, Czesław Bielecki, even ZChN, we tried to observe people who get money in foil bags from a suspicious business. This was truly about [Janusz] Tomaszewski's group. We wrote memorials, organized banquets for rebellious AWS-men - in vain. Kowalczyk was yet killed in a car accident, but I was cut out in the election for Vice-President of the AWS - most likely against Krzaklewski, and due to the alleged "cooperative" led by Adam Słomka.

- I'm sorry. It was your defeat.

- I'm sorry. And I read the paper indifferently during the decisive meeting. Krzakiewski threatened to resign due to the fact that he was afraid I'd leave with my party...

- I'm sorry. And the consequence of unity will flow.

- I'm sorry. but I couldn't take it anymore. I'm not picky, but I was tired of gathering the bureau, where everyone is hungry, and only the boss - Krzaklewski, who picked up the sandwiches. Or talks with AWS politicians who hierarchized people according to lupanar criteria" (Two of those... Alphabet of Kaczyński Brothers, talked to Michał Karnowski and Piotr Zaręba, Wydawnictwo M, Kraków 2006, p. 259; I improved the apparent typo: "from Lunapar" to "from lupanar"; ah, meaning there is simply a brothel...).

"For me the cabaret was more and more the AWS with its Cooperatives, the explanation that «Solidarity» knows everything best, and prominent representatives of the nation come into the planet only in tiny cities (Krzaklewski). That's how TKM was born. It was like this. He came to me to talk about how frequently journalists at the time, editor Witold Gadomski, erstwhile MP of the KLD, associated by me with «Bank Gazette», alternatively than «Election». It wasn't an interview. Critical to AWS then threatened any extremist anti-market AWS economical program. In this direction, I was approached by the absolute Liberal of Gadomski. I told him it was all false and nonsense. Finally, I briefly said that the program was TKM. I didn't come up with that shortcut. I heard it for the first time since Mark Kuchciński in 1990. In August, I went with Przemysław Hniedziewicz to Rzeszów and Przemyśl. In Przemysl, I spoke to the previously known PC head, Mark. I asked him what was his strongest party. He thought for a moment, laughed and said - the strongest is TKM. I didn't know that shortcut. Marek decoded it by talking about a group of people without any circumstantial views or political past who push each other. I've never utilized that phrase. It occurred to me only after a failed conference at the University of Warsaw. And I did. shortly there was a large article by Gadomski, where I was quoted. The case became widely known, the saying was repeated and of course it was utilized against me, besides during the election for Vice-President" (Jarosław Kaczyński, An agreement against monopower. From PC history, Profit and S-ka, Poznań 2016, pp. 328-329).

A conviction about the scratched disc reads carefully from the conversations of a Hungarian tourist (John Cleese) who wants to buy cigarettes. After that, it's just worse, and the thing ends in hand. In another sketch, the publisher of these nonsense talks (Michael Palin), accused of publishing that could origin social unrest, says in the course of a court hearing: "I want to plead incompetence." fewer publishers and authors present make specified a confession.

In this form, of course, this is shameless manipulation: attributing to a man what he only comments on.
