In Gdańsk was created the Lodge of Excellence “Under the 3 Compasses”

Star of the Sea, free-sea lodge in Gdańsk

On October 11, 2025, a large event took place for our Lodge.

On that day, as a consequence of the decision of the ultimate Council of 33° to the large East of France, the lights of the Gdańsk lodge of higher grades of the Old Scots Ritual and Recognized under the name distinguishing “POD THE 3 COMPASMS”.

The lodge is, of course, a natural improvement of our blue masonry workshop, the “Star of the Sea”. This evidence is simply a seal in which similarity with the seal of the LGM can be found. Here we besides want to send a large thank you for your invaluable assistance in the work on the creation of “Under the 3 Compasses” to the Kraków Lodge Gabriel Narutowicz and personally for B:. Dominique Lesage.

During the beginning works, we received the patent of the Lodge, bearing the seals of the advanced Council and of the Grand College of Riths of Paris. It represents formal designation and is simply a visible sign of a tradition dating back to the earliest past of RSDiU. From that minute on, each initiation of a fresh associate of the Lodge of Excellence and each increase to the next degree of insight will affect a beautiful diploma issued by the Paris advanced Council 33° and a decorated seal of Gdańsk workshop.

The “Under the 3 Compasses” lodge is simply a mixed lodge. It gives the Brothers and Sisters the chance to practice the further initiation way in the Masonry to grade 14 RSDiU inclusive. Thanks to the care of the ultimate Council of 33 and the Grand College of Rytów GODF, members of the fresh Excellence Lodge gain access to unique resources, competences and experiences as well as to the cognition collected in the ancient archives of Ritu. This is an extraordinary chance to follow the way of higher masonry according to the best, recognized and proven patterns. This is besides a peculiar call for us to keep the highest standards of Masonic labour.
