The January decision of Joe Biden's administration on the export of advanced AI chips caused a large stir to the Polish public. The decision shows that 18 allied countries, including 10 EU countries, can proceed to buy AI integrated circuits without restrictions. However, Poland was not included in this group. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitization Krzysztof Gawkowski informed that the Polish MFA is presently in talks with the Donald Trump administration.
