According to the company, it will be the world's first fusion power plant on an industrial scale. Devin Nunes , Head of Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), expects it to lower electricity prices in USA And better meet the energy request of artificial intelligence.

What Is Behind Trump Media

TMTG is best known as the net propaganda portal operator Donald Trump (79), TruthSocial. The president of the United States has been the majority owner since its foundation, and after being elected to the White House, has transferred his shares to the trusteeship of his son, Donald Trump Jr. (47).

According to the announcement, the value of the merger exceeds $6 billion (5.11 billion). The transaction is to be completed by mid next year, subject to the consent of shareholders and regulators. The shareholders of both companies will then hold about 50 percent of the shares in the merged company.

Companies are already planning to build more fusion power plants to produce even more electricity. In atomic fusion, tiny atomic nuclei combine at utmost temperatures – unlike atomic fission in conventional atomic plants.

Global investigation is underway on the usage of fusion for energy generation. However, the way to start real fusion plants is inactive very far away. Fusion facilities are gigantic and highly costly investigation projects. All existing facilities, specified as the ITER investigation task in France, are purely test projects, inactive far from producing electricity on an industrial scale.
