The lawyer General signed the motion to the talker of the Sejm Simon Holownia to waive the immunity of PiS MP Luke Meyza. "The MP should set an example, not ignore the law" - wrote Waldemar Żurek on social media.

The entry announcing the lawyer General's decision appeared on platform X at 4:49 p.m. Minister Waldemar Żurek stressed that "Member should be an example"and not ignore the law," hence the decision to apply to the talker of the Sejm.
"A fewer weeks ago, MP Luke Meyza was detained by police and refused to accept a mandate. He ran more than 200 km/h along the S3 route" - wrote the head of the Justice Ministry.
"I just signed a motion to the Marshal of the Sejm to waiving immunity for Mr Luke Meyza - so he can be punished in criminal proceedings. Zero tolerance for road pirates" - he added.
