On 11 April a 39-year-old Pole was shot in the Stockholm Skarholem district, mostly inhabited by immigrants in front of his 12-year-old son. The police have not managed to halt the perpetrators so far.

The event occurred Wednesday evening erstwhile 39-year-old Pole portrayed as Mikael (Michael) Janicki went on a bike journey with his teenage son. Vice-President of the Polish Ministry of abroad Affairs besides referred to the event Andrzej Szejna, saying that Polish authorities must not interfere in this case, due to the fact that the parents of the murdered Janicki renounced Polish citizenship in the 1980s, and so the circumstances of the execution will be examined by the Swedish prosecutor.
