Few people can afford a mortgage, and the rent is frequently all that money. That's why young people rent a tiny flat together.
Usually, studies request to be combined with work, and it can be hard to combine 1 with another, especially since employers may not be very knowing and frequently require longer working time than the codex of 8 hours. Hence, the election run featured the slogan "akademik for gold" or a promise to pay a fewer 100 zlotys to students who are forced to rent a place on the free market. Here comes the thought of the Belarusian proverb: “You promised a goat, warm were words.” Minister of discipline Dariusz Wieczorek joked that it was a lie. And it truly didn't work out, only students don't see anything comic about it. We proceed to ride on the Jelonka estate, where young people “valetise” in empty premises and from where they are brought out by police in handcuffs.
The wooden cottages left behind by the builders of the Palace of Culture for decades served as inexpensive dormitories, but no longer serve. Warsaw has another plans for this area, and it is likely that as usual the land in the Warsaw Bemów will fall into the hands of developers.
The only man in the government who thought of students was Deputy Minister of improvement Krzysztof Kukucki of the Left, he prepared a bold municipal construction plan calculated for spending 50 billion of the budget, of which 10% was to be spent on dormitories. However, erstwhile he realized that the government had different priorities, he returned to his hometown of Włocławek, where he built a evidence number of rental apartments for all pocket as vice president. The residents appreciated the effort and elected him as the city president.
In Poznań and Krakow, there were violent student protests against the privatisation of dormitories. And even though Minister Wieczorek (supposed to be from the Left), extinguishing protests, the youth promised a lot, he did not keep his word.
Warsaw, Gdańsk, Kraków and Wrocław are practically closed to young people from the provinces from mediocre families. Staying home with their parents, young people will not make the career they dream of. And Poland will lose a large deal of talent that will not make again. Why? due to the fact that banks and developers gotta make their money. And let the young and capable go to the West and effort to be happy. Only how many later would want to come back?
