The second day of the JAZZ POLSK Festival will be held in the club JASSMINE in Warsaw on 27 October. Indian duo Pranshu Chatur Lal – Sumanth Manjunath, Paweł Krawiec Trio and peculiar task JAZZ PO POLSCU Ensemble will perform. Start at 6:00.
JAZZ POLSKA Festival will be opened at 6:00 p.m. by musicians from India – the tablelist of Pranshu Chatur Lal and violinist Sumanth Manjunath, who will lead the workshop "Rythm Raga". The artists will besides execute in a duet with an author's program that combines Indian music and European traditions and will be part of JAZZ POLSku ENSEMBLE – a task prepared specifically for this occasion by guitarist and composer Kuba Wójcik. The composition of the quintet will be supplemented by bassist Andrzej Święts and drummer Krzysztof Szmańda. Representatives of the young phase – Paweł Krawiec Trio, the finalist of the global Jazz Juniors competition 2023, will besides execute this evening.
This year's edition of JAZZ POLSku festival will be devoted to Polish artists, but besides to Indian artists, and the subject of the event is freedom, which is inextricably connected with the thought of jazz music. The event takes place at the JASSMINE club, at 73 Wilcza Street in Warsaw.
“The subject of the festival is freedom, which is inextricably linked to the thought of jazz music, as well as the basis of our values. Through the festival we want to advance the authorial music of Polish performers, but besides focus on cooperation between Polish and abroad artists. This year they will be artists from India, whom we had the chance to meet during the spring tour as part of the task “About the World”. Together with Polish artists they will make a peculiar premiere performance under the name JAZZ POLSku Ensemble" – This is Jakub Krzeszowski, the creator of JAZZ POLSK.

The JAZZ POLSKA Festival is organized by the JAZZ POLSKA Foundation and is co-financed under the “Music” Programme of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the operator of which is the National Institute of Music and Dance. The event's partner is the Jassmine club. The event takes place under the honorary patronage of the president of the City of Warsaw.
