Iga Świątek commented on her winning duel with Jelena Rybakina in the 1/8 French Open Grand Slam Final. Raszynianka, who won the game 1:6, 6:3, 7:5, admitted that she did not anticipate an easy win, and a hard duel was needed for intellectual comfort.

Polka played with Rybakina 9 times as part of the WTA tournaments. In total, she managed to win the Kazakh tennis player 5 times.

“I did not anticipate an easy match with Jelena. I didn't consider it. I think I needed specified a victory. Confirm that I can handle myself under pressure. Of course, it is fun to play games under full control, but in a fight with large tennis players it is not always possible" – we read the Polish tennis player quoted by PAP.

In the next stage, French Open Christmas will face Ukrainian tennis player Elina Switolina.
