"I call on the European Commission to repeal the Building Directive"

– I would like to begin by thanking all the 52 Euro Members who have signed my question to the European Commission for the deadline to retreat from the Building Directive.

Between 2010 and 2022 prices of residential property in the European Union increased by 47%.

10.6% of people in the cities of the Union lived in apartments for which it spent more than 40% of its income.

Currently more than half of Poles aged 25-34 live with their parents. Even though most of them work, they can't afford their own apartment.

Ursula von der Leyen, after 5 years in charge of the European Commission, abruptly realized that fake movements had to be made in the residential area, so she added the name housing to the name of 1 of the offices, organised a brief debate and expressed concern.

Meanwhile, the same president of the European Commission has the last simple old word of office has pushed the directive on the energy performance of buildings, which, under a beautiful description of energy efficiency concerns, reduces possible sources of home heating, increases in property maintenance costs and increases in construction costs.

I so call on the European Commission to repeal the Building Directive. Withdrawal from activities that increase housing costs and take measures that will service to deregulation and reduce the cost of providing the basic request of having a home.

Leave people alone and let them live as they can.
