Although the left-wing Spanish authorities can be criticised a lot on migration policy, the current attack on Ceuta and Melilla is primarily a hybrid operation of Morocco hitting the territorial integrity of a NATO and EU member. This is besides a classical case of the usage of demographic weapons. This does not coincide with tensions between Spain and the US and Israel on Palestine and the war with Iran.
