The Ministry of defence will allocate at least 652 million zlotys for the implementation of the National Deterrence and defence Program – east Shield in 2026. According to the Ministry of Defense, more than 61 km of the east state border—out of the planned about 207 km—has been secured so far. In parallel with the engineering work, preparatory procedures are underway to contract out additional tasks.
