The text by Isabelle Khurshudyan and Kostiantyn Chudov, published in The Washington Post, presents the example of a soldier who was forced to cooperate with the FSB by arresting his parents. As we read, the man was contacted in an anonymous chat with an ultimatum: if he does not cooperate, it is unknown what will happen to his family. He was asked to poison the commanders of 1 of the units in the Zaporozhye Oblast utilizing the substance provided to him. In addition, he was to supply the FSB with data on the locations and movements of Ukrainian units on the front line. Thanks to the action of the SBU, he was detained. He faces a life conviction in prison.
