The voice in this case was taken by the Deputy Minister of National Defence and the staff of Trzaskovsky, Cezary Tomczyk.

As Rafał Trzaskowski explained, it was "a Polish flag with which Mr Karol Nawrocki came to the debate in Koński, and then, erstwhile the lights went out, he abandoned it in the hall where she proudly waved".

The case was referred to by Polsat writer Piotr Witwicki, co-chairing the debate in Koński on 11 April. On platform X, he posted a photograph of the incident. He confirmed the flag stayed there after the debate.

– I kind of didn't believe that flag stayed, but I started looking at my archive photos after the debate, and it's actually in the background. By the way, meet the full squad of Polsat from Koński – Witwicki wrote.

The question was: how did the flag end up in the hands of the KO candidate's staff? The vote on the case was taken by Deputy Minister of National Defence and Staff for Trzaskovsky Cezary Tomczyk, who was a guest on Tuesday morning on TVN24's "Piasecki's Talk".

– Whoever fights with the flag, dies with the flag," he said. He added that Trzaskowski exposed to all this "patriotism" of a candidate supported by PiS.

When asked how the flag got to KO's staff, he replied: "Charles Nawrocki left the flag, treated it like a part of material, like a worthless object. And for people the flag is sacred, the flag is Poland, Poland does not leave itself and everyone should know about it.

The Deputy Minister besides referred to the incidental during the debate erstwhile Grzegorz Braun described the daffodils – a symbol of the memory of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising as a "sign of shame". Trzaskowski powerfully protested against these words. Tomczyk criticized Nawrocki for not responding.

– reflection must not miss the head of the Institute of National Memory erstwhile we talk about the Warsaw Uprising, erstwhile we talk about the uprising in the ghetto, erstwhile we talk about issues that are fundamental from the point of view of past – he said.

Piasecki, however, returned to the subject of the flag, asking who precisely took it. Tomczyk replied that "no 1 carried it away." He continued, utilizing the phrase "who took over", to which the Deputy Minister replied:

– Staff issues will always stay our sweet secret. Rafał Trzaskowski and Wioletta Paprock's chief of staff are liable for everything.
