How did the war change the Territorial defence of Ukraine?

The Ukrainian Territorial defence Troops (OT Forces) played an crucial function in the first phase of the war and in its later stages, supporting operational troops and sometimes even assuming their role. From the local troops, the OT battalions became operational units, which already in the summertime were forced to operate on the front line.
