Widening with a larger unit of fire

Navy Rear Admiral Stephen Tedford, Chief of Executive of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), revealed fresh details on AIM-9X missiles on Growler and Super Horneta at the yearly conference "Sea Air Space at the Navy League" on 8 April. From now on under EF-18G Growler it will be possible to place AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles under wings. On the another hand, F/A-18E will be able to carry more AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles than before, by placing additional pylons under their wings. Changes are a consequence to the needs to combat Hutich drone attacks in the Red Sea
