In September, Szymon Hołownia announced that he would not apply for the position of president of Poland 2050. shortly thereafter, eager people began to appear. On 10 January the first circular of elections was held. There were 5 candidates: MP Ryszard Petru, MP Joanna Mucha, Minister of Funds and Regional Policy Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, Minister of Climate and Environment Paulina Hennig-Kloska and MP Rafał Kasprzyk.
It was already said that if no 1 received more than half the vote, the second circular would take place. And so it happened, and Paulina Henning-Kloska (131 votes) and Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz (277 votes) passed to the second round. The full procedure was held online. The second circular of elections was scheduled for Monday, January 12. After a fewer hours of waiting for results, a cancellation of elections was announced by method problems.

“Poland 2050 is simply a task to which I invited wonderful people and which is very deep in my heart and to which I have devoted quite a few years of my life, quite a few effort. And I believe in him very much. If it turns out that this will be a solution to aid Poland 2050, then I will not avoid any solution – I will sign.
