The KNDS and the Ministry of Defence of the Netherlands informed about the conclusion of the Leopard 2A8 tank transportation agreement. The Netherlands ordered 46 tanks and 4 tanks to learn Leopard 2A8 DTV (Driver Training Vehicle), with an option to deliver 6 further tanks. The option will be decided by 2027 and the budget of the full task is in the scope of "€1 to 2.5 billion", including infrastructure, ammunition, training, etc.
