Spain orders mortar grenades in a German company

The value of the signed framework agreement is expected to be respective twelve million euro “in the advanced range”. Under its power, the German arms company Rheinmetall is expected to supply a full of 104,000 mortar grenades of 60/81 and 120 mm by the end of the year 2025. These will be classical shrapnel-burning, smoke and light effects. Depending on the caliber, their capacity was determined from 2.59 km (60 mm) to 8.25 km (120 mm). It is possible to extend the agreement for another 2 years.
