Spain resigns from Israeli missiles and artillery

[In June the Spanish media](https://defence24.pl/industrial/Spanish-resign-of-Israeli-missile systems), citing sources in the government there, reported that the Ministry of Defence ordered the cancellation of the acquisition of 168 launchers and 1680 anti-tank guided missiles Spike LR2 and [multiploway SILAM rocket launchers (PULS) together with the technologies essential for their production and ammunition utilized by them](https://defence24.pl/strong-arms/Spanish-homar-stand-on-base-Israeli-pulse). These plans were put into effect in early September through an embargo on Israeli weapons. These decisions meant not only cancelling contracts worth respective 100 million euros, but besides creating gaps in the current and future capabilities of the Armed Forces.
