Spain bought Turkish aircraft

Spain chose the full Turkish training strategy based on Hurjet aircraft. The value of the contract is EUR 3.12 billion (US$3.62 billion), and the implementation of the contract is expected to end in 2035 at the latest. Deliveries are scheduled to start in 2028 and training at the Spanish Talavera la Real base – in 2029 or 2030. In turn, 2031 is to be the date erstwhile the mark Spanish variant of Hurjet will start appearing in Spain. It is to be based on the cooperation of TAI, the Spanish Armed Forces and the Spanish Airbus.
