It's a historical decision. Swedish Gripeny will patrol Poland within NATO

The Ministry of abroad Affairs of Sweden announced that from April to June 2025 Swedish multitasking fighters Gripen would be utilized to patrol airspace over Poland as part of the NATO mission. This information was provided by the Swedish MFA chief Maria Malmer Stenergard at a press conference.
