Due to the war against Ukraine, Russia's population may decrease by at least 25 percent over the next 50 years, according to the latest data from Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR). Specialists point out that the origin of specified drastic forecasts is, above all, immense losses among young men. As a result, Russia is already suffering from a shortage of workers and a falling number of students in vocational schools, which, according to HUR, can have long-term effects not only on demography but besides on the economy of the state.
