Helicopter pat in Germany. American, light or out of order? [ANALYSIS]

The German defence ministry on the issue of strike helicopters seems to be a bit lost. Berlin resigned or officially suspended participation in the upgrade program to the Tiger Mk III version along with Spain and France. At the same time, they declared their interest in the AH-64E Apache, but besides the AH-1Z Viper and a bridging solution in the form of a lightweight H145M armed with Spike guided missiles since last year. For respective years, the deficiency of a decision, and in rule its constant changes, has not given hope of solving the problem of the fleet of Airbus Helicopters Tiger machines, whose operational readiness is constantly declining and the challenges are increasing.
