Kira Sukhoboichenko, a social activist from Ukraine, was nominated for the Warsaw Year's title 2025. Although she has lived in the capital for years and has been working for the local community, her nomination sparked a wave of hatred on the net. It never occurred to me that individual would think I wasn't a Varsovian, says Kira.
