Due to the failure of the heating network, the deficiency of hot water and heating are residents of respective Gdynia districts. presently work is underway to destruct harm – informs the Regional Heat Energy Company (OPEC) in Gdynia.
‘On 12 February, by late night, the heat supply to residents of Gdynia, powered from the city heating network OPEC, was stopped" – the OPEC press spokesperson Gdynia Iwona Kozłowska told PAP on Wednesday.
The inhabitants of Podorza, Cisowski Deserts, Karwin, Witomina, Czarzna-Viczlin, tiny and large Duck and Dąbrowa are presently deprived of hot water and heating.
‘Currently intensive work is underway to destruct harm and restart the heat supply. We assure you that we will make all effort to reconstruct the full efficiency of the heating strategy as shortly as possible"

Last night there was besides harm to the water supply network at ul. Col. Dąbka, which was reported by the Company of Waterworks and Sewerage (PEWIK) in Gdynia.
‘Yesterday after 23.15 we received a study of a major water supply failure of 200 mm in diameter in Gdynia in ul. pł. Stanisław Dąbek 230. There's been a water supply breach. The origin of the failure is not yet known. Renovation brigades are working on site," the company stated on Wednesday in social media.
Due to the failure, water is deprived of residents of the Obłuża and Pogórze parts in the Kosakowo municipality (behind the Szperk buying centre), as well as residents of Oxywia and Babich Dołów.
