Tensions between Poland and Ukraine following the awarding of the Order of the White Eagle to Volodymyr Zelenskyy “have not yet reached their peak,” warned Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Ukrainian president’s office. Speaking to students in Kyiv, he assessed that for now it is simply a difference of opinion, not a conflict, but the situation could escalate. He called president Nawrocki’s decision a “terrible mistake” and a sign of “immaturity.”
